Do poms really whinge that much?

That seems to be the stereo type

In Japan the people I've met who by far whine the most are the Americans

When I started at my new school they would consistently complain about how the school was run and how it could be improved.

Now, my school is wicked by any standards: the pays right up there, sweet hours and only 1 student per class

Two of the Americans have been fired. They joined a union but (thank god) it doesnt look like they'll be coming back.

And get this, on of them threatened to kill the Japanese manager who fired him!!! I expect he'll be deported in the near future as he left a 5 minute answering machine message detailing what he was gonnna do

Who wines the most in your country?

In Aussie they have a reputation for being whingers..
I was at the local enjoying a $5 meal (this pub is famous for them) and this West London sounding twat has a huge go at the chef for not giving him enough mash with his steak?

Its classic - my school used to have 4 Americans, 2 New Zealanders, 2 Aussies

Now ..... it has 1 American, 1 Canadian, 3 New Zealanders and 4 Aussies

Can anyone see a patern?

Seriously though, the kiwis and Aussies are all so laid back and dont ever cause any problems

One of the Americans (before he got fired) said:

"I know the contracts dont effect me but I dont morally agree with them which is why I am going to join a union and have the school up about it all"

none of the poms i know really whinge that much. the biggist whinger i've met over here is actually a sydneysider. she turns up to work and moans about her health, other people and is always going on about how shit everything is over here. we're just like, if you dont like it here then just fuck right off! she's been at work for 3 months and has so far had about 7 days off, most of them fridays. SLACK!!

I've met some that whinge. Some that don't. For the most part, they whinge a lil more than most, BUT they can take the shit you give them for it "You're such a whinging pom" etc....

I think the poms who go overseas are probably the biggest whingers, in general...

I think it's pretty easy to start whinging about a place when you move there, because it's a lot different to what you're used to... but people get pissed off with that pretty quickly

Whinging..?? get a job in customer servies and THEN get back to me about whinging poms..!!

My god its so bad....and by bad I mean absolutely diabolical!!! the amount of times I've almost ended up in tears (actually I have a couple of times) from being so frustrated with them!!!! I think companies just pick random rude, uneducated people off the street (who can barely speak English) and employ them in customer service.
