DMC scratchmixer 2000-2001?

Hey Guys, just looking for any info I can get on the Technics sh-dj1200?

I've found one I can buy for $300 in decent condition, working and everything, is it a good deal? Is it worth getting? I've heard the crossfader won't last too well?
