DJ wanted for a fun night, house party.

We're throwing a bit of a party next Saturday, 22nd May 2010- costumes with a bit of a kinky theme- not getting nekkid or anything, the theme is Deviants. Nurses, schoolgirls, gimps, pimps, you get the drift.

Had a mate lined up to play, but something's come up and he can't make it.

Basically, it's a house party, not a club, so it'll be fun and a bit of mixing. We need a DJ to spin some tunes, but to also join us for a few drinks and have a bit of fun if you're into it. Remuneration will be either $100 cash, or loads of drinks etc and some $, whatever. Just let me know if you'd rather BYO or stay sober, or I can sort out your entertainment for the night.

We don't have decks or anything, just a stereo which did the trick at the last party. Nothing flash, but it was fine last time.

It'll only be a few hours, maybe 3-4 max from about 9-10pm until about 1-2am, then we'll head to town (K'Rd most likely) if you're keen to tag along.

It's probably not that good a deal, but hey, if you aren't a pro yet, have a set of decks, some house/club tunes to spin (thinking Ink/Coherent, Code style), and want a great night, hit me up. Honestly, we're not expecting some professional DJ, but if you have the gear and ARE good, that's perfect! Otherwise, anyone who knows how to mix a bit and has their own decks with tunes will be fine

Thanks mate, tried to contact him but he said something about contacting his manager. Then a friend arranged another local DJ who sounds like he's pretty good, playing at big gigs, local clubs etc. Got a deal worked out to give him some $ and drinks for the night.
