NZ Hip Hop Limited is proud to announce the details of the 2002 NZ I.T.F. Regional DJ competition, and the confirmation of DJ Revolution as the special guest judge and showcase turntablist. As P-Money will not be defending his crown, the ITF will see a new champion in 2002.
DJ Revolution
15 years in the game has made DJ Revolution one of the biggest names in the West Coast hip hop scene. Residing in Los Angeles, Revolution is a member of possibly the world’s greatest hip hop radio show, The Wake Up Show, hosted by Sway and Tech. Part of this crew since 1997, The Wake Up Show has grown to be the most influential hip hop show on the planet and has released three albums of exclusive freestyles to date. Revolution followed this lead in 2000 releasing his solo album ‘In 12’s We Trust’ on Ground Control Records featuring such hip hop luminaries as Dilated Peoples, Roc Raida, Defari, DJ Craze, Choclair and Kardinal Offishal.
