A little something you may not have known as to why Presha is one of the biggest names in NZ Drum & Bass

DJ Presha has been a major player in the New Zealand Drum & Bass scene for the past ten years. He has also conquered international crowds in Miami (Metalheadz, DSCI4) and the UK (Metalheadz, Valve, Movement), as well as Singapore and Australia.
Responsible for The Breaks and Glide, two of the most innovative and influential nights in New Zealand Drum & Bass history, his years of hard work and dedication to the scene have paid off with many of the UK's top producers providing him with new music virtually as it is made. He was also one half of the long-running Subtronix Promotions organisation for 8 years, helping bring the best of the world's Drum & Bass artists to New Zealand audiences.
DJ Presha's most role of A&R for the Subtronix Recordings label (globally manufactured and distributed by ST Holdings UK) has been another high point in his involvement with Drum & Bass, but at the heart of his drive is his passion for DJ'ing. Each and every DJ set from Presha is always a comprehensive upfront glimpse into all styles within the Drum n Bass spectrum.
A brief, voluntary rest from the club circuit in early 2005 to enjoy the New Zealand summer has seen DJ Presha take time to concentrate on his weekly radio show on Auckland's 95BFM - 'Next Level' (Thursday nights 11pm-1am), which is highly popular in many sectors of the globe. However, the time is right for a return to the place DJ Presha feels most comfortable - behind a pair of turntables. Having supported almost every international DJ to come to New Zealand, 2005 looks to be a time when DJ Presha steps up to make a more locally based contribution to the New Zealand scene with Subtronix Recordings and his management role for rising stars 'State Of Mind'.
