Coming up for this, should be a big one

Indeed it will Smile

I'm getting into his most recent album - its quite heavy and took me longer to get into than 'Zen', but I'm now enjoying this one.

I dont know if I like his newest album, but then I'm pretty sure that's a good thing.

What I mean is, Zen was good, but a little too trimmed and solid, and a few of the tracks really suck a lot.

My favourite Krush album is still Kakusei, it's super-complex and understated, and I still get more and more out of it every listen. The new album seems to be steering him back towards that crazy shenanigan shit as opposed to overblown commercialism, and that is where Krush is really at.

I can't wait for the gig! ooooooohhhhhh man

1994's Strictly Turntablized was indeed good. 'Kemuri' was and is a wicked track (and still my favourite from the man). My favourite album however is 95's Meiso.
Check his mix album 'Code 4109' for an idea of what we are lilkely to see on the night. The effects unit on his Vestax will get a workout...

Strictly turntablized was a DOPE_ LP. Kemuri was my fav too. Definitly one of the best mo wax imprints from Krush...

And to think i gave away that album in a swap for goldie's "timeless".

Fair swap , but damn i wish i still had it.

I missed Krush Crying or Very sad and everything else on friday due to post graduation drunkeness...

Really should have held off the drinking till later in the night.

Good to hear it was a good gig though Music

Faaaark what a disappointment. That was the most cardboard gig i've been to. Yawn.
[quote]
Cardboard? wtf does that mean!?!
That shit was incredible man!

The only problem I had was that he didn't play long enough.

From mixing into Midnight Marauders you could tell he was gonna be dope.
How about all his life beat-messing madness?? Cardboard indeed.
