ooops, Treasury accountants forgot to add in that $600m owed in provisional tax in that "operating surplus has disappeared" from January so we actually had a $200million surplus.

huge numbers seem to get bandied around these days without any seriousness....

no wonder commodity prices are rising. I mean I can actually eat a bushel of wheat. but a govt surplus/deficit hey, doesnt really matter right?
