Diskotek at Ink - Friday April 30!

Just posting a hello and to suggest you get to a shindig this weekend.

DISKOTEK is happening ... this Friday, 30th of April .. at Ink!

The last couple have been big, ie. the Fanciulli party at Studio, and the Vincenzo party at Ink and Coherent. Now I'm not doing parties this year but a friend of mine doing a party at Coherent asked me to tee up something at Ink. Therefore this time with Diskotek I'm after capturing something different... and looking to keeping it simple, quality and intimately fun. To do this I've picked a few top characters from each of the underground house/techno camps in Auckland who I can say are actively onto new sounds and ideas within their styles.

So first up, Matt Drake, easily our favorite, noted for Beatstreet antics and highly enjoyable club sets. Andy Vann, the old testament of the NZ house scene, who right now is the only guy from that period playing some seriously wicked new shit. Phil does a really nice, well paced, deep, and warm sound, plus in case you didn't know he runs the Lazy Sunday Parties. Finally a new fella who knows whats up ... Matty Beach, he throws the Off Shore Ginger Minx parties and regularly plays at Chicago Disco.

$10 before midnight and $15 after. This doorcharge also get you entry into Coherent (and vice versa) for an electro house party called Illinoise if a bit of grunt and chunk is what you fancy.
