Deja Vu is proud to present on Saturday 5th Decemeber @Double Happy night club...
Dj April, Hard Trance Dj & Producer direct from UK.
After being inspired by some truly remarkable DJ's, April started own DJ career in NZ in 2004. A couple of years later after moving to London to give DJing she has managed to secure sets at, Tidy, Frantic, Twist, Extreme Euphoria, Fevah, Slinky and many other promotions. Recently Puzzle Project named Dj April a resident alongside Hard Dance legend Phil Reynolds.
This year she has moved into the world of music production, and have had two releases on Addiction Digital (Oddball & Jellybean). Hard dance giants Impact Recordings signed 'One of Us' and 'Different World' to their hugely popular label earlier this year. These bad boys made it to number 4 and number 6 on the Trackitdown Hard Dance top 100.
April's first hard house track 'Walking Through Fire' was co-produced with the super-talented Tom Parr and has just been released on Inertia Digital. With more tracks due to be released soon things are looking pretty exciting ...

Born 1975 in small town Stratford Upon Avon in England and moving to Australia at a young age, Damion took to the decks in 1989 at the age of 14 and in 1992, after moving to Adelaide, he fell in love with Dance Music.
Armed with a fresh sound and under the guise of Deviate (taken from the line of skateboarding shoes he once wore for Vision Street Wear), he quickly took to the sound of Hardcore, playing such labels as Terror Traxx and Industrial Strength, with his first residency in late 1993 at the underground club, X-Over with esteemed DJ’s such Angu$ and GTB.
During his time, he has won the title of South Australian Dance Music Awards ‘Best club over 500’ four years in a row and ‘Best Event over 500’ for his capacity event series ‘Twice As Nice’ parties 3 year in a row.
With a tight touring schedule around the country, racking up frequent flyer points and pushing the sound of uplifting Trance, Damion was in high demand, taking him to such venues as Melbourne’s Hard Kandy, Bubble, and 3D to name a few, whilst also working as the Booking & Event Manager for Profile Artist Management. During this time at Profile, he ran his own series of club nights with frequent interstate guests, most notably of events was the Bass Invaders series held at the now former Red Gecko.
Taking a new direction in his choice of music, Damion dropped his old Hard Dance persona and music, embracing the name Damion Pell, along with Tech House / House and Electro. After countless gigs across the UK with such greats as Cass & Mangan and long time friend Gregory B, whilst living with fellow friend and club promoter Justin Yorke of The Cross, Pacha and TDK Festival.
This has lead to Dirty Habits being invited to host their unique brand of nights of House, Electro and Banging Tech House around Australia, the United States, United Kingdom and Asia throughout 2008 and into 2009.
Come late 2008, Damion has toured numerous international DJ’s and artists from such labels as OM and Oven Ready, along with touring in early 2009 with non other with Derrick Carter, Crazy P, Collette and Mason, headlining main stage around Australia.
2009 has been a hectic year with Damion taking over the operational management of 2 hotel groups, along with a hectic DJ schedule week in week out, along such names as The Presets, Grafton Primary, Jack McCord and headlining such events and clubs as Hed Kandi, Favela, Goldfish, The Oxford, Trademark and CBD.
