Jody 6 has been a name in the Hard House events through out NZ and Australia. Supporting Frantic, Deja Vu, and more.
Jody 6 has over 60 releases on top hard dance record labels such as Vicious Circle, Nukeluz, Flash Point, Nu Energy, Fireball, Carbon, Volatile and Fevah. His energetic take on hard dance has resulted in big name DJs including Paul Glazby, Andy Farley, Kevin Energy, Marc Johnson, Captain Tinrib, and Ben Stevens regularly spinning his tracks around the world.
Strike first discovered dance music during the heyday of hard house's popularity - 2001. He fell in love with the music and was hooked almost instantly, going out to every hard dance event he could. Over the years he attended countless hard house parties, and developed an almost encyclopedic knowledge of the genre.
After several years of collecting records and being a dancefloor regular on the Wellington hard dance party circuit, he finally decided to take the plunge and become a DJ. Cutting his teeth playing at the notorious after parties held at his infamous Duke Street flat, recent times have seen.
Strike's DJ career going from strength to strength, pushing his trademark tough, funky and uncompromising hard house sound for top Wellington promotions Twisted? and The Alliance, as well as his own hard house promotion Hardbeat, which has had a successful year re-invigorating the Wellington scene.
