Dankann - Paradise EP

The Italian Starlight label, who brought us the recently successful "1986" release, now brings us this EP from Dankann, a two tracker called Paradise.

Firstly, we have A Long Weekend in Paradise, this is a peak time progressive track with several trance elements thrown in. A solid bassline and warm arpeggios help give the track a really clean feel. Definitely something for a DJ like Marcus Schulz for example.

Part 2 of the EP is called Return from Paradise. This tune naturally contains some of those rising chords and bass sounds that make up key parts of A Long Weekend in Paradise, but Return from Paradise is perhaps a little more chilled and relaxed in its flavour, not a bad thing. This is my favourite of the two tracks on offer.

All in all, the music on display in the "Paradise EP" is of a high standard, where tightly compressed drums and fine melodies are assisted by a good final mix down. Both these tracks should get good support and fly up those download sales listings too.
