ok angry man, im throwing down the gloves, mr i know good music when i hear it, mr something with a bit of meaning.......im throwing down the gloves...

....saturday night, Twisted@Phoenix, this might be your one chance to get your head out of your ass and listen to some GOOD bang bang music. not just your usual hard house, girly fluffy trance. This is gonna be Hard Trance(ssssssh, there is a difference) NRG Trance(a a a, i said sssht) give it a chance, even if it means I have to get you so smashed you cant walk out......give it a go.

then if you dont like it, you can bitch all you like!!! if you dont come, i dont wanna hear another bitchy comment, unless it's about music you do listen too.

Yours truly......

....someone, whose not gonna take your shite.....

Stoffa, comon bitch boy
[quote]
yes perhaps, i don't have any glittery tops will i still fit in? Smile
[quote]
Wooo, oh yeah Danjah - I'd be fucking impressed to see you there. *laughs*

Stoffa - I'll bet you $5 he doesn't show. Smile
[quote]
He's not MAN enough to show - tee hee hee Wink
probably not willing to try something different..

probably doesn't have an open mind like you, voice huh? prob doesn't have much variety in his life... just dnb dnb *yawn*
[quote]
mwuahahaha! we have 200bpm tramen and subripping dread reece bassline! junglists lol at your pathetic "hard" trance!
[quote]
Fuck yes. It's way more physically harder to dance to most DnB than to trance I find. My knees and ankles are fucked after a DnB gig, ad less so after an HH/trance gig.

Man, try dancing hardcore to some Concord Dawn. Dat shit'll fuk uz up reeeeel good, muddafukker. *big grin*
[quote]
princess: Yup, DnB and 2-step, and breakz. Very Happy

And that shit is all good!
[quote]
im a jungle girl from WAY back - ESC parties 6-7 years ago... i do miss it sometimes... but i just love it all really - oh, except dark house... just goes no where... (what little ive heard that is)
[quote]
Hard house is the easiest shit to dance to ...and probably the most uninteresting music to dance to.
[quote]
harvey: Yeah, I find it the easiest. House is harder as it's a slower beat, and you have to be roe careful with timing. Slow house fucks me up - I got cha-rooted at Robodisco a coupla weeks back with Pooley spinning the really slow shit.

Dark/Deep House is great.... ohhh yes, the bass just reverberates through me, I love it. princess: I take it you're referring to House Call last week?
[quote]
yeah... just need music that makes me jump up and down... and it doesn't do it for me... but i will keep trying coz every night is different Smile
[quote]
Danjah... 1 hour ago?
[quote]
Danjah bad mouths all the Trance and HH gigs but have we seen him at one?

Live a little.
[quote]
Haven't seen you at a DnB gig, dude. *grin*
[quote]
But do I bad mouth D'n'B, noooooooooooooooooooooooo Razz
[quote]
Does it really matter what one enjoys, surely the experience and being totally happy is all that is called for.

I've experienced both worlds and personally I like HH/Trance better, thus providing me with the energy that relates well with my body & mind and gives me the same endomorphines as a run.

I find that DnB is too basey and with slow rhythematic waves, my high energy levels brings me to a low that I don't like experience.

& Before anyone ruffles their feathers, I've experienced DnB and HH/Trance straight!!!!!!
[quote]
u weren't at lagered party last year? that was pretty off the hook, biggups to gee and sam hill doing it well Very Happy

Sunshine: in the immortal words of steve hill aka phlash! "get a life u drug addict".... oh shit, looks like danjah knows what hes on about Razz bring in da danjah! BO!
[quote]
Personally I like to listen to good music from heaps of genres (not just dance either!!). It seems really stupid for people into dance music to slag each other off when most of the population slags off dance music. Isn't it better to just all enjoy the type we like and try to get more people to go to clubs and enjoy themselves whether it is to DnB, trance, house, hard trance .... whatever.
[quote]
Takes one to know one Danjah Razz

[quote]
but genre bashing is one of the most fun things ever! the only people that whine are those who can't piece together a half decent arguement to proove that their loved genre aint shit
[quote]
woohoo sunshine u didn't sike out like last time!biggup Very Happy

yes i too am prone to dropping a few DRUGS also... panadol being a fav of mine
[quote]
Man, I reckon there's just as much energy in DnB. Some DnB has some fucking good vocals and rythmic stuff laid on over the top as well, so it's not all bass. 200bpm not enough for ya Sunshine? *grin*

I'll bet danj is a speed freak. Smile
[quote]
hugs not drugs hehe!!!!!
[quote]
Can't say I been to any that has had a 200bpm, might have to substitute the water for a double diet coke intake to do that Smile
[quote]
yeah right sunshine, so u won't be taking any of the large box of XL's that i have secured for the biggie crew Very Happy
[quote]
Fark no! I've got more brain cells than that Razz

Being an athletic one can't take drugs, or one will be banned from one's much loved sport.
[quote]
"I find that DnB is too basey and with slow rhythematic waves, my high energy levels brings me to a low that I don't like experience."

sorry but youre obviously doin it wrong

if done correctly the energy present in a double time brockout to drum&bass is unparalleled in present day dance music, its last rivals being new york speedcore and rotterdamn terrordome style gabber both of which died in the late 90s amidst a wave of violence and drug casualties that proved the 220+ bpm music was in fact just too hardcore

hardhouse is watered down old skool rave custom made for yer average bill and sharon looking to let loose after a hard week at the office

you can see the effects on any friday down on K road - auckland's equivalent to courtney place, only the few beers top 40 hoebars have been replaced by few pills hardhouse hoebars
[quote]
Blah Blah Blah Razz

[quote]
yeh lets talk about something worthwhile ... like 130 posts on breast implants (??)
[quote]
Now your talking Toasted Smile
[quote]
bugger off toasted ;P we can talk about what we want on here, that's the point of it. Clearly if it got 130 points it's of interest.
[quote]
Bugger me Heavenly - how are you precious.

[quote]
not bad love, in a fiery mood though with some of these buggers ripping up flipside land, where once it was nice and now it's getting nasty! How are you doll?
[quote]
Shhh. Let's talk about DnB. Go into chat/MSN/ICQ. *cheeky grin*

Mmmm, 160-180bpm..mmmmmm
[quote]
sorry voice Smile I know it's annoying when people do that!! I retract all statements relating to asking people how they are. That's all I can talk aobut in here though. To be honest I know bugger all about dnb. I must go to something soon and have a listen.
[quote]
Ouch watch out Heavenlu is on fire! good on ya babe, stick it too em Smile
[quote]
Bloody good.

These guys make me laugh, they talk about liking to rark us up, but when we put our opinion out there they seem to think we know nothing.

Razz

I can't wait to see what they look like :O
[quote]
"I must go to something soon and have a listen."

Very HappyVery HappyVery HappyVery Happy how wonderful! big up yoself!
[quote]
I'll save ya the cash and effort and just give you a CD Heavenly those DnBers arent nice! But Gimpgirl and voice are 1/2 nice cause they come to trance and HH gigs so that kinda balances out the evil a lil.
[quote]
sunshine: You know what /I/ look like. *grin*

And heavenly at a Bass Frontiers mash would be bloody interesting! No offense meant. Smile Funnily enough, me at a BF gig is bloody interesting/weird looking. And I love it!

ALERT: Voice is on natural energy and adrenaline high. STEP BACK FROM THE MOVING VOICE. Smile
[quote]
I'm starting to wonder about Voice! He gets to big for his wee boots Razz

But I've gotta say GG and JAH are pretty cool peeps Smile
[quote]
because it's hard to tell whether people are being sarcastic on forums like these, also cause I don't know you toasted, I will assume you are being a friendly dnb person ;P
[quote]
Yep Voice I do Razz

Prays to god that they're dead ugly :O)

[quote]
Voice is actually really different in real life than in his biggie life, more reserved in real life.
[quote]
Yes he hides behind his big computer. I must admit I like the more reserved Voice.

Laugh a little Voice Smile)
[quote]
Anyways enuff of this shite, how are you lovely biggie ladies tonight (Heavenly, sunshine)?! Who was your day?!
[quote]
Bloody good thanks, had a nice day at work, a nice run and swim. How was your day Sir T :X

PS: Voice still luff you eh!!
[quote]
"toasted, I will assume you are being a friendly dnb person ;P"

absolutely. i worship the heavens whenever any biggie crew make it along to a d&b gig. would be great to have you there.
[quote]
That is excellent news sunshine Smile Am glad to hear that everythings is good wit ya babe Smile

My day was not too bad at all thank you sunshine, are you going tot Twisted this w.end would be good to catch up, dont say no either grab the king and his blue suede shows and bring ya tartan skirt and lets cause some major havoc on the dance floor, woooooooooooooooooo!
[quote]
Anyhow Toasted, Danjah, Voice, Gimp, Justah, have a great night tonight and don't do anything I wouldn't do eh!!
[quote]
Ahh, not more reserved in real life around my /good/ friends. I am around you guys as I don't know you that well, and most of you are a lot older than I am, so I need to suss you out before I commit to being open - fair enough n'est-ce pas?

Incidentally, yes my computer is quite big.
[quote]
Fine dont say goodnight to me sunshine Sad Im gonna go and cry myself to sleep Sad
[quote]
That brings up a point voice, how old are you?!
[quote]
I turned 21 on Saturday. You're the only Biggie I've met that's younger than me, I believe...!
[quote]
Yeah the general populous of Welly Biggies seems to be 22+ Im quite sure that I am the youngest Welly Biggie Sad So if I look lost at a dance party someone please hold my hand and take me to find mummy.
[quote]
Danjah, u're a man whore!
[quote]
Happy B'day by the way voice Smile Did you have a great day? What did ya get upto?
[quote]
*slap slap*
[quote]
sorry sir t, i kicked her off the pooter ( to cook me some eggs, iron my shirts, clean the car etc etc...)
[quote]
Hahahaha lol Smile Can you get her to chuck some bacon in the pan and make me a coffee while shes at it!
[quote]
she's changing the tyres over on the holden now, so coffee can wait Smile
[quote]
"I can't wait to see what they look like :O"

whats the difference i could still go harder on the dance floor and on message boards then you, like it matters what people look like, its that kind of attitude that really fucks me off....

fuck dis
[quote]
After that can you get her to go cut up that pig hanging up in the garage and feed the dogs.
[quote]
she just cut danjah to ribbons. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahhahaahahahahahahahaha.
[quote]
ps: get some stinky dreads and some phat jeans and some killer weed from BP in hanson street, newtown b4 u come into bass frontiers Very Happy
[quote]
danjah. can you teach us some dnb dance moves? i thinks it's called the head down shuffle.
[quote]
Why buy weed it grows in the bush.
[quote]
LOL@T_K
[quote]
NO: to be perfectly honest i don't think you could handle music that starts at 160 bpm pops, plus i think its extra on the door for the zimmer frame Very Happy haha

nah but for real yeah i teach ya if you come on down to marky and bryan gee tonight: tuition fee is a bottle of lindaur Very Happy
[quote]
Wink
[quote]
jeez you two sound like a really classy couple

wish i was your kid
[quote]
wo, been away for a few hours and look what happens, wonder if i hit a sensitive spot???

danjah, you'll easily fit(couldn't work out if you were taking the piss there) I go out in my baggie DnB style jeans and my DnB style hoodie.....I dont mean come you and see if you can party hard or any thing like that, you should come out with an open mind and take an unbiased(if at all possible) attitude, and take a decent listen to the way the music is structured, the way it builds up.......just give it chance lance, you never know

and just so you know i do appreciated DnB, especially good DnB, I've given it a good go.

Can you say the same about GOOD trance????
[quote]
what ya gonna do with the lindauer? give it to yo grandma? i thought a sophisticated dnb man such as yourself would prefer meths'n'white bread.
[quote]
i'm sure someone will luv you toasted, but you generally have to pay them.
[quote]
They keep coming, hahahaha T_K yo on fire bruv!
[quote]
hey i like my cheese just about as much as the next person: i have all the lagered series Very Happy hehe, theres some top tunes in dem.

and yeah theres some top tunes in trance, dunno bout hard hoose though Very Happy its a bit too samey for my likings, wheres the funky vocals and bad basslines that make your indsides want to explode? basically what im trying say is that theres no dillinja in hard house, you guys are missing out...
[quote]
hmmm whats that supposed to mean Toasted????
[quote]
resorting to personal attacks, classic dnb eh.
[quote]
no i don't think it was an attack: i think he was fe real, thats the troubling bit Razz
[quote]
personally, I cant stand to listed to Lagered, no offence Grant, but im into, what i consider is, good trance

just out of interest Danjah, would you go to trance or HH if it were at studio???
[quote]
eh?
[quote]
Well I have to spill the beans on this one guys.

I for one have witnessed with my own eyes both Danjah and Toast in a Hard House Club (Kiss) up here in Auckland. They both went on their own accord unhandcuffed or forced and they stayed there for at least a whole hour and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Unfortunately just as Danjah was getting up to dance the music stopped and the lights came on!

hehehe

[quote]
Grants a sell out has a thingy where you can email him "says something like contact me and ill get back to ya" Yeah right! Heaps of friends have emailed, no reply. The people that go along and support his endeavours at the end of the day he couldnt give a flying fuck, that's not what its about!

[quote]
in a more comfortable environment, away from all the, as I call them *treading very lightly* "Glowstick Kids"
[quote]
oooooh..closet trancers
[quote]
not true jill! i was in no state to be resisting hard house that morning and as i remembered it me and toast were sittin down sharing our last box of nitrous, whilst good ole jilly was bouncing round like the duracel bunny on AC power for an solid hour Razz i tihnk it was her birthday that week, oh and then the disspointment of finding the tight fisted cunts at kiss had no cold water taps in their bathrooms.

stoffa: nope, i don't hate trance, its just hard house, and it being in dingy ole 9 aint gonna make it any more appealing, except it kinda looks like kiss Very Happy hehe
[quote]
yo sir t. i thought the last lagered gig @ phoenix was "BORINNNNG". just a drift of tunes with no real peaks. the first cd in the latest set would've done nicely but the live performance fell well short.
[quote]
stoffa: do me and toast get guestlist bizness? hehe im sure you'll pull at least 30 flipsiders paying five bucks extra each just for the chance to be alone in a dark room with me... might have to go UK garage styles at the front door and pat down peoples b4 they come in Very Happy if thats the case i bags patting down sunshine! Very Happy hehe
[quote]
oh sweet then, I can see where your coming from, it can be lacking, but i'll still play it, seems to keen the old skool bogan's happy
[quote]
The_King-Agreed!
[quote]
5 bucks for a crack at danjah...i'm in. Smile
[quote]
Woah danjah, back off buddy. *laughs*
[quote]
Stoffa-Not sure if you got that message about G² You played on the 31st day right?!
[quote]
sweet, see what i can do, might even make some money off this.....

*standing on his soap box*
Who wants to pay to see Danjah and his sidekick Toast out listening to HH and Trance????

*holding out the hat*
[quote]
If we pay an extra $2 I wonder if we could set up one of those throw a cream pie booths.
[quote]
if you were to have actually been on the biggie boards when lagered rolled into welly you would have found that all the comments were positive, i mean i enjoyed it throughly and i didn't know any tunes! oh except a few cheesey hits...starparty, plash that cool chicane remix.... and it sure looked like welly was more than hyped that night, im sure grant has some video footage lyinground of that gig, and sam would prolly love for chemistry to go off half as badly as largered did Very Happy ofcourse i got free tickets for that, so i couldn't complain anyways.

dunno bout the teared floor thingee though, makes the crowd look like raver midgets half the time, and whats with the crowd not facing theDJ!? thats just plain disrespect! too busy massaging each others backs to worry it seems like Razz
[quote]
yep sir t we split a two hour set, 13.30-15.30 I played last, not that you could see,(facking piramid booth) i played 14.50 till 15.30

cant member the name of the track you were asking bout
[quote]
Nice one Stoffa Smile

The track was Masterpiece of Emotion by Aeon and BMI (12" bombastic mix) was it you that played it?!?

Yeah that pyramid kinda put a damper on things Sad
[quote]
i've been in phoenix when it goes off, and if you thought lagered was as good as it gets, i think you oughta get out more. if it takes a free ticket to get you there, no worries.
[quote]
Your on top of your game tonight King! You have humoured us and enlightened us, respect!

The only reason it would have seemed to be going off wasnt becuase of the set, it was prolly more to do with those whopping JAs that were going round at the time!
