We're not bunnies, the pitch wasn't that bad, and SL aren't the best bowling attack in the world either.
As said man, many times - this is where your view diverts, right at the start.
When it comes to playing spin, we are probably the worst test playing nation in the world. Time and time again we have shown ourselves to be inept at playing spin, and last night it was evident that even our best player (of spin, Styris) wasn't able to read what was going on. This, coupled with the fact that Sri Lanka have *the* best spin attack in ODI cricket right now, and could easily have eeked out 40 over of top quality spin meant that we just simply were not capable of what you're suggesting. The pitch wasn't 'bad' but it was conducive to spin - sticky on top and a little bit of variable bounce... perfect really.
Now, *you* think this is not a good response because you think we're capable of better, but no one else agrees so you're never going to get a response that you want, and no amount of trying to shout everyone else down with your flawed assertions will change that.
