Thinking about those tests. Id say vs most teams right now the best thing for us to at home is play on green tops, but that sounds like a pretty scary tactic vs the Safas. well, he has been dropped from the ODI side, and I think they're now in the process of grooming a replacement for the test team... but in test cricket you actually need a proper keeper, not a batsmen who keeps a little (i.e. like AB de Villers who keeps in the ODI side)

neil ... can' believe I'm going to say this ... is right. SA realised ages ago that spin is the way to go and have even taken that into the ODI's part of their game. I remember for years we only fielded pace attacks with no spin option, those days are long gone.Kirsten has made it very clear they are going to play with this T20 team until they find the right combination - they are very keen to get a ICC trophee in the cupboard.

SA has struggled with T20's right from the word go and the BC's have been really good at it. Not sure why, we do have the big hitters and aggresive players for it ...

Our T20 team for the ICC WC will be Amla, Kallis, Ingram, AB, Faf, Duminy, Pieterson, Morkel, A Morkel/Botha, Parnel/Tsotsobe and Steyn. As you can see thats a fair bit deiff to what we are fielding atm.
