Because sometimes its nice to own oddities that whilst not especially useful, are none the less appeal to you for any number of reasons.
Staying away from a list of vehicles, some oddities I'd love to own for various reasons include

- An original Urei 1620 dj mixer.
- An M1886 lebel rifle (a historical curio of interest)
- A bottle of cognac dating from the 19th century (it'd look so damn classy)
- A small beer fridge for the bathroom, specifically, the shower. (actually very practical)
- The physical autopilot control interface for a classic 747, preferably one formerly installed in a Pan am clipper (aero geeking at its finest)

List away, bitches

what makes you say that resist. jeez I'm fairly pessimistic about stocks in general but truly can not see apple falling back to $2.50 from their current $375.

I know you excluded vehicles Clipper but I would like to have a 1956 VW beetle. and a space invader table top machine like at Brazil cafe. a hammock would be cool too.

Why a '56 Peat?? I'd be going for the '54

just coz it was the first car I ever drove, my old mans ... German built with a small window at the back.

Nice, I was a member of the VW club a few years back, had a '58 Beetle, loved it- looking out for a nice cheap KG convertible just to have as a Sunday car.... one day....
