Wicked System?
HAhahahahaha!!
LMAO!!!
Oh, you just keep getting funnier dude.
You obviously didn't speak to any of the dozens of people that spent the whole night outside cause the system wasn't only so loud that it would do permanent damage within minutes but it sounded like utter SHITE!!!
Loud doesn't automatically equal good you know.
Totally agree Gopal mate.
More or louder certainly
doesn't mean
Better.
We had a few peep's head down to our bar due to the fact that it was so loud in there & they commented on the fact that permament ear damage was not their thing.
I have spent month's getting my rig soughted & now we have better quality, louder & definately clearer sound with less gear than we I took over. It was achieved by using quality gear that is well tuned by the right people to suit our venue, this can mean it sounds great either down at a low level earlier in the night or at full volume in the early hours of the morning when the bar is full & more is required.
This has been a long slow process trying different things & was not easily remedied overnight. By adding extra sub's etc to an existing rig for one night on the afternoon prior I find it hard to believe that a god sound engineer would be able to get the acoustic's spot on in this time.
My point is (Kyle if your reading this) get someone in the know in to have a look at your existing rig, you may find that you have more than enough
movement to be able to get it working much better & avoid having to spend extra coin on extra gear when it's not needed.
Hope the gig went well anyway.
