COMMIX (METALHEADZ / HOSPITAL – UK)
Commix are George Levings and Guy Brewer, a UK drum and bass duo from Cambridge UK who have had tracks signed to Goldie’s Metalheadz label and Hospital Records. If the duo doesn’t sound like the average DnB act, it probably has something to do with their mostly techno influences. They cite Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, and Carl Craig as some of the primary reasons they began making music. Constantly evolving their sound and pushing the boundaries of drum and bass 2009 has been another big year for the duo releasing a Fabriclive mix CD and singles on 31 and Headz. http://www.myspace.com/commix
TC (D-STYLE – UK)
TC stormed to success after the release of his debut album in 2007 and has not looked back since. He has all the major DJs smashing his tunes and the unprecedented support of dance music’s elite. Consistently tearing up dancefloors across the country with his signature big, bouncy, bass-heavy tunes, TC is a force to be reckoned with. Each of the singles taken from his debut album ‘EVOLUTION’ (‘Deep’, ‘Jump’, ‘Rockstar’ and ‘Where’s My Money’) topped both the BBC Radio 1’s National Dance chart as well as BBC 1Xtra’s D&B chart. With big plans and exciting projects for the future, this jump-up juggernaut is one of the brightest sparks in the scene!

JAKES (HENCH – UK)
Jakes is many things to many people, to some he is the voice of TC’s smash hits ‘Deep’, ‘Drink’ and ‘Mindkiller’, to others he is the Daddy of Bristolian Dubstep crew H.E.N.C.H and to musical historians he is one of the most interesting vocalists that underground British music can lay claim to. Never afraid to break from tradition and roll with his own flow, Jakes’ voice has become one of the most recognisable in the game and his energetic live performances see him travelling across the globe and smacking down raves from Bristol to Boston with his inimitable style. Jakes has been gaining recognition as a producer in his own right with his huge bassline monsters featuring in the sets of all the major Dubstep players.
