Hey there car talk biggie's,
Have any of you guys heard anything about coilover sleeves?
I realise they are a cheap and nasty alternative to proper adjustable suspension but I have been given an offer to sell them in NZ for an asian distributor and was wanting to see if any of you guys knew much about them or know anyone with them in there car, also if you had a rough idea of what you would be prepared to pay for a set.
Would highly appreciate your help
Cheers Very Happy

I had a set on my civic - just bought a set of ebay for about $120 US including frieght, so not worth a lot so couldnt imagine there being much margin in there for you. Car rides just like a car would on lowered springs and standard shocks, so pretty rough, but hey its a cheap to go low. Generally when you whind them down a few inches the springs become un-captive so you wont get a warrent without twisting them back up to standard height every 6 months, each time requiring an alignment so you dont destroy your tyres.
They work fine but you get what you pay for

Do yours have keeper springs in the top or is it only 1 spring?

nar no keeper springs but yes that would have fixed that problem however you cant go as low so sort of defeats the purpose of them. May as well just get super lows if your going to run the standard shocks in my opinion, otherwise spend the bigger bucks and do it properly with a full setup

so if I sold them for $220 delivered to your door do you think the would sell?
