Chicks on Speed

They are on at the Kings Arms this Thursday, and BDO the next

Anyone got much to say about their work? I haven't heard any that I recall.

They say techno/punk/rock and some other sutff

I'm heading along to check it all out....

I will be checking the chicks at the BDO but I don't really have much to say about them at this point apart from they sound vaguely interesting.

just checked out a cd of unreleased stuff, and damn its all over the show, Atari teenage riot style, some techno, some disco and some old fashioned screamy riot grrrl.

Interesting indeed..

They also have alot of 'electro' type music, but its pretty hard to put them in any particular genre

Did anyone check out the Kings Arms gig?

i surely did, they were fantastic at the kings arms, at the bdo they were not so good. They enjoyed themselves more at the kings arms it looked like.

I think that the BDO set was way more dance oriented, as expected. Having seen them at Kings Arms I new what to expect. I really enjoyed what they played at both gigs. But found the Kings Arms gig to be more of a rock concert style crowd. I really like to dance to things, so I prefered the BDO set personally, and because I had heard them I could sing along to their sets too =)
