Check Level One, new bar above Rockshop

I don't know much about the place. They asked me to do a house set there tonite from 10pm-12:30am. Could be worth stopping by if you're out and about, to check it out.

Hmmm, they cancelled. Probably a mix in communications. They had someone booked for tonite, then he pulled out so they booked me. But then someone else there booked another DJ.

So looks like I'm not there tonite, but I'm still tempted to call in a have a look at the new venue.

Well, it doesn't really worry me too much. I'm DJ'ing at an Invite only House Party tonite, so still get to play lots of good music. To do the set at Level One would have meant starting at the party, then leaving while Isaac DJ'd for two hours, and then going back. With the weather like this I'd rather just stay at one place.

But, yeah, it did put me out a bit. Mind you, it was a last minute booking so I'm guessing they were in a bit of a panic.

I haven't been inside but the place sounds LAME!!!

They crank horrible music like "blow my whistle, b*tch" from early on in the evening so f*ckn loud that you can hear it blasting through the blacked out windows when you are enjoying a nice glass of wine listening to jazz at Le Plonk. Tragic!
