Some fares may not be the cheapest though - but Im not one of those bitches who enjoys 6am flights from Luton/Stanstead just to save myself £50.

Would like to head to New York for a week, plus have a mate moving to the Canary Islands so no boubt I'll head there.

my advice is not to worry too much about the ultra cheap airlines... it often turns out to be a false economy... you have to get to luton or stanstead at stupid hours, and fork out for cabs, etc. things can get even worse if things go wrong.. (and people like Ryan air don't give a shit about cancelling flights).

Usually better to pay a little bit more (on the actual price) fly from heathrow or gatwick and a good hour.

I agree to a certain extent Mutant. Helps if you are travelling with a group of people.

I was in Prague last weekend. Didnt get in the door till 1am Monday morning. That was a bitch!
