Chch underage dance scene

Why is there never not a lot for underagers in Chch?
Yea sure - they do have some good events and stuff.
But not enough. I WANT MORE. MORE !!!!!!
ARRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEUUUUUUURRRRRRRRR.


Personally I think we need a few well known good old fashioned underage clubs.
Auckland and Wellington have them - and theyre good.
So why dont we?

There isn't the support for them here that there is in Auckland and Wellington.

auckland is ok....only ok......we need more!
Christchurch would be awesome if they got all their underage together and formed some clubs
a bit of work needed all round but deffinatly dont give up!

The council should fix up some old building in town and turn it into a underage club.
The council here are so fricken stupid.
They think - oh, we will build the teens a skate park - that will do.
So they build a few skante parks for us.
WOOHOO
Im sorry but skating just doesnt quite do it for me.
I should get my ass into gear and wrote the C.C.C a letter . . .

It might help if you go down to your local council place and ask about it.
My friend wanted to build some BMX jumps so him and some mates went into tha local council place and asked about it and they now have some land to build jumps on and they have all the resources they need from the council to build the jumps.
It might not help but it does pay to go and talk to the council about it and see if anything has been put foward before or anything.

Yea, fully eh. It's deffinatly worth a try. Especially if the venue for this club was to be at some old council abandoned building of some sort.

But I promised my friend that if there wasnt an underage club in chch by the time im 18 - Im taking out a massive lone from the bank and im making one.

I think that if you go round town and find some old buildings that you think might be alright for an underage club then go into the council and find out who owns them all then maybe go to the owners and see if they would allow a under-age club to go there.
My friends took months to find a suitable place to put the jumps but they just kept looking at alternative spots and then asking tha council person they were dealing with to check them out.
Try and make sure you deal with the same person so there isn't any confusion about whats been done etc.

Im 16. But yea . . I will deffinatly have to get off my ass and get something done. Im sick of there being nothing to do on weekends
