A rebel with a cause, Klute is truly unique artist and continues to be creative force in drum & bass after well over a decade in the scene. His productions mix strong melodies with tough beats, bearing the influence of Klute’s roots in punk and techno, and his livewire DJ sets known for their energy and intensity. His label, Commercial Suicide, has gone from strength-to-strength with recent releases from heavy hitters such as Amit, Break, Hydro and SKC. A new solo artist album is slated for Spring 2010, as Klute strives once again to challenge preconceptions with a different sound for the dancefloor.
Klute's new album 'music for prophet' is now complete and scheduled for release at the end of May 2010. Now in the hands of a fortunate few DJs, fans of DJ Presha's Samurai Music show and John B's podcast will have been among the first to get a taste of what's in store. Catch Klute on tour in the next few months taking in New Zealand and the USA as well as the UK & Europe and stay tuned for more info coming soon.
