i was just thinking how lost i would be if i ever lost my fone, it would be like the world has ended, well not quite. what about all u biggies how would you feel if u lost your cell phone.

i find when you got it it never leaves your side and you feel like you couldnt not have one but when you lose it you dont miss it that much. i've lost many a phn but now i have a flash 1 so i cant lose it

I feel 'naked' without my phone... is f*cked! One of those things that once you have it - you can't imagine NOT having it! (like my new car - tee hee!)

I brought a smaller phone so I could take it with me to events (don't like taking a bag to big parties - ok when clubbing tho) but I reakon if I go any smaller I will lose the durn thing! (terminal cellphone withdrawal!)

I've had mine stolen and a simcard stop werking in the past year. It was awful, especially when trying to meet friends somewhere, etc.

Thing that cracks me up these days - is when my chickens and I sit down for a bubbly - to rest our dancing feet - I look up from checking my text mesgs to see my girls - and all those around me gazing intently at the little phones in their hands - thumbs furiously tapping out mesgs to the outside world... lol

when i lost my cell fone i got txt withdrawl and this lasted untill i got my newest cellphone . and now i would be so hacked off if i lost this one cause it cost me alot well a lot for me. yeah i agree with you chicken if i went any smaller i would deffintly lose it mines just the right size hehehe.

Yea I couldn't live without my phones...
I'm in limbo at the moment using my old phone (Ericsson r320s) while my new phone (r520m Prototype) gets flash upgraded by Ericsson.
But... I forgot to take half of my numbers off onto my SIM card (the 520 stores them on the phone) so I don't know the numbers for half my buddies... I feel really lost.
*laughs* I also have the ultimate in txt msg weaponry... a Nokia Phone Card for my iPAQ handheld!! Makes texting so much easier!...

Blue tooth from iPAQ to r520 is sooo sweet... Waitint to get my hands on a t68 color Ericsson ATM.... they are very sexy!

I have a little gadget bag which I carry with me everywhere... has Phone, iPAQ, Folding Keyboard, Minidisc and Sony Folding headphones (MDRV500)... I would die if I lost my toy!

What does everyone use their phone for most? TXTing? Voice? Data? (prob not)...

Anything piss you off with texting? Anything you wish you could do?

My old telecom network Ericson died taking all my phone numbers and contacts with it. Its not the phone i missed just the contact info held on it. Now i`m learning to drive a Nokia and finally after years of not being able to the rest of our crew can text me. But I really hate those cellular secretaries and have mine totally switched off.

Didn't know that Nokia where doing a headset too.

Currently won't work with NCP2, reason being that
a) NCP2 has no Bluetooth
b) Can't route BTooth through the iPAQ cos NCP2 only takes voice input via the headphone jack. So using the 38*0 iPAQ devices ain't gopnna help ya

But, I wouldn't recommend the NCP2 anyway - No GPRS support and with Voda declaring that they won't do HSCSD (High Speed Circuit Switrched Data = basically multichannel ISDN over mobile) the NCP2 is gonna get left behind pretty quick.

Better to wait for the release of the iPAQ GPRS jacket, or the O2 phone being OEM by TCM, the guys who manufacture the iPAQ for Compaq.

If ya need something urgently then a combination of 3870 (bering in mind they are scarce as hens teeth in NZ atm) and an r520 or t68 plus an Ericson BTooth Hset would be a bloody good combination.

I'd steeer clear of the Nokia Bluetooth impl. atm... it's pretty poor compared to the others.

I cant imagine not having my phone. i always think about whether i go out would i rather forget my wallet or my phone and sorry wallet but i dont feel quite the same emptiness when i dont have you with me that i do when Ive lost my phone. Ive only had my phone crap out on me a couple of times but it is true, at first you cannot cope with the thought of what you're missing and how on earth will you survive but then after a week its not actually that bad!

yes its bad enough if i don't take it out and it takes a day to get back to it, just like to have it with me, security and a link to anyone who i may not be with at the time......

My mate had a blue backlight fone (Nokia 8250) but he dropped it in a glass of beer one night at the pub... OUCH!

IMHO they are mucho overated... they're a real poser phone... bugger all functionality, small and sexy looking but foer my money the t68 is the business at the moment, followed by the Nokia 8310, Ericsson r520m, Ericsson t39.

I would probably loose touch with quite a few people if I lost my phone... I always mean to keep phone numbers in another place, not just in my phone but doubt I will ever get my A into G!
