I see portions of the UK media and various other right/conservative outlets are now celebrating the brilliance of David Cameron and the Tory campaign... WTF!!! Yes he's PM now but it was a lesson in how to throw away an election. 1 year ago Gordon Brown was on the verge of being ousted due to low popularity and the Torys were going to win by a landslide. Cameron and the Torys conducted such a bad campaign that they contrived to almost throw away a landslide and emerge without a clear majority, which hasn't happened since just after WWII. If not for the undemocratic nature of FPP they would have found themselves in a very difficult position with an even smaller share if parliament. So rather than pointing out this was very nearly being one of the worst cock ups in British electoral history, the Torys are now being praised for their campaign? A campaign that consisted of almost no policies and merely playing on the fact they weren't Labour. Celebrating a very near epic fail, well done.
