Hi,

Anyone know of a service agent for pioneer that actually know these units and are in the business of repairing them?

I've spoken to NEXT and Tisco, and monaco (the distibuters) and overall my experience hasn't been good. Tisco at least are prepared to look at it for $12.50, and seemed far friendlier... but still didn't actually know the model.

Next were complete asshat's over the phone, and wouldn't even talk to me with me spending the compulsory $45, same with monaco.

so any help would be greatly appreciated! Very Happy

forgot to mention, was a cdj-1000 mk1

It has issue with the touch sensitive top. When you go to pitch bend, it sometimes thinks you are touching the top when you aren't....

cheers.

Manaco should at least know where to get the repaired .. they are the pioneer importers for NZ

Proof can you help with your list of contacts ?

Offically, Monarco are the only people who should be servicing them.

However, if anyone else half decent can get a service manual, electronics is electronics...

Hi, -Monaco charge the standard $45 inspection fee but this is built into the cost of the repair.

Monaco also are the only ones in the country who stock the pioneer spares for the CDJ's also.

I have heard some horror stories about how much independant guys have charged to do repairs on these...
