Great idea but yeah, silly money. They can have the slug from Queens Wharf after RWC, since it becomes a massive white elephant competing against other permannt council-owned structures like the brand new viaduct events centre.

I think the slug is already destined down that way as a temp entertainment venue - ie for all not just the faith based
