Cab fares....

I was attempting to work out how much money I have spent since I have been in London on cab fares...

MUST be close to like £1500 at least, probably more?? Sheesh!

How about you guys? I'm sure some of you are at least double that!

Spent £75 on a West One car from Heathrow to Clapham once. Work wasn't too happy about that

4 years, average say £6 a weekend... yeah, I reckon I'm over a grand easily.

Haven't been out as much as I would like to, but £30 home to Balham every time I'm out in Farringdon... ouch

note to self: must convince people to go out in Clapham more often

Yeah - I need to do it more. Heaps of good places to go, and its close to home. Just a matter of convincing others of the same thing!

Oh yeah and about the cab thing. I have been here four months. I reckon I would have spent £300 easy.

I know it sounds like heaps but my friends all live in North London and I (was) living in Wimbledon. It costs £30 to get from their houses to my home. I've moved to North London now because of it! And then there are the cabs to clubs, from clubs, etc etc.

WAY too much money.

I was thinking about this tonight actually. £1000 compared to what you'd you'd spend on a car back home in 4 years. Doesn't really compare.
