Brothel next to Kindergarten

Anyone know what the former rave bar was called? Looks like they'll attract a much higher class of people with a Brothel!

I don't know if it was a rave bar or not but it was 'The club' wasn't it, and there was one beside it called 'Raven' i think.

Ages ago i heard there were heaps of fights there and there was a stabbing. Just a rumour, so i don't know if there's any truth to it.

There is going to be more uproar about this strip club/massage parlour opening.
I read in the herald that the Kindy beside it in Myers Park were opposing it, but have now dropped that.

I personally think there's nothing wrong with another new strip club/massage parlour plus the owner will probably make shitloads out of it. Parlour owners make heaps! (generalisation)

yeah, Upstairs was The Club, and below was Raven.. went to the Raven opening a couple of years ago.. got free piss all nite, not a bad set, but a bit far away from any other clubs.

The stabbing was further up the road - `the club'was generally filled with south Aucklands finest and westies with shirts - bit dodgey really.
A few good underground gigs there though.

They should have no problem with a brothel there, everyone knows that dance music is the real evil and drugs are bad for you. Our sacred rights of drinking alcohol (for life!) and making good wholesome love, should not be hindered.
