WHAT IS IT?

With a mission to enhance the break beat nightlife of NZ we’re dedicating a night to doing just that. Set up your weekend by immersing yourself in the Break Beat culture of Broken Beats at Fu & Zen on the 17th of September 2010.

We’ll be transforming the venue to create a unique atmosephere which will be made in our vision of the dark, dirty, hard and amping genres of Drum & Bass and Dubstep. Enveloping Fu in a Drum & Bass culture explosion, with a brand new layout, chill out areas and visuals to steal your very mind from the ordinary. Delivering Zen into a grungy, dark and bass heavy environment thich with black & white décor, swamped in black light and devestated by the mounstrous sounds of Dubstep.

If you’re not up for the bass heavy sounds of inside, we’re setting up a ‘backyard party’ hang out area in front of Fu, couches, picnic tables & even the bbq will be there so even if you’re not into the epsidoes of face melting going on inside you can kick it out front and enjoy yourselves.
