Reality is, people end up voting based on PR, not just because they were going to vote for them anyhow.

I would be interesting who would get the votes based purely on the music, or their performances, but that is never going to be the deciding factor again...

Not so sure why everything is so amusing to you, but anyway, this point you've made here interests me. Surely without appropriate PR one cannot get their music out enough to warrant people's interest enough to vote for them? Or have I totally missed your point...

I think he was just amused that the normally smug and down to earth breaks scene is drawing more than a few comparisons to the Dj Mag Top 100 comp heh.

I agree with Timmy, locals all good! Lets get out there and give them all the support they can get cos they're really up against it considering how UK-centric the breaks scene is but yeah, if you don't know who, for example, The Plump Djs are until they spam your myspace site then you really shouldn't be voting heh.
