The Blue Lake Music Festival (was Blue Lake Dub Experience) is back again, this time on Saturday November 29, 2008, at the same beautiful venue, the Blue Lake Domain in Rotorua. Who wouldn't want to watch some hot live gigs in the summer sun amongst the gorgeous redwoods and with Lake Tikitapu for a backdrop? Special guests DLT and DT are going to open up the stage with Che Fu, Rhombus, dDub, Little Bushmen, 1814, The Midnights, Masef and Roots Batallion, it’s going to be a spectacular mixture of dub, reggae, roots and psychedelic rock music. Gates open after lunch and there's music until 11pm that night. Kids under 16 are free with a paying adult (ID may be required) so get your tickets through Ticketmaster (early bird on now for a limited time, family passes and buy 5 get your 6th free), bring along the kids, chilly bin of good food and some sun protection - cuz it’s going to be a scorcher. Alcohol and food will be on sale onsite, but you can bring your own food, but not alcohol. Come on, get back to your roots and support Aotearoa music.
