One duvet, one throwover fluffy thing ... still haven't needed to break out the PJs

just one (summer rated) down duvet... had my spring/autumn rated duvet on until a few weeks ago, but the house is so well insulated that it's not really necessary. I don't imagine I'll even use my winter duvet in winter...

I dont use an electric blanket.. that's kinda like being in a slow cooker isn't it.. gross.. I have a nice mink blanket down before my bottom sheet though..

Top sheet comes in contact with your body constantly, means not washing duvet cover so frequently...quality linen comes in sets, what do you do with the flat sheet if you don't put it on your bed?

Oh, right, you buy flannelette/shit quality single sheets from K-Mart, don't you?

I might go to farmers after work they have nice sheets Linen House I think.. I like that stuff.

One blanket + one duvet, but thats not going to cut it all winter in an old house in Melbourne.

I saw a mink style blanket with the below picture on it the other day, its so 80's kitch clash I think I want it.

Normally I'd support such a sweet blanket, but I think you'll find there's only one acceptable style of blanket when it comes to featuring an eagle:

I'm just not a sweaty/smelly person so could easily get away with only changing sheets once a month ... to be fair this is the same person who doesn't use deodrant ... never have.

The girlfriend said we're gonna go buy some new sheets now .... kinda her ones are a bit old and my ones, for the most part, just aren't too flash .... and it's winter so nice flanettes will probably be where it's at.

Farmers! They have a good range and are having a awesome sale. I got some in the weekend I spent A LOT but it was buy one get one free!! So now I have 4 sets of gorgeous sheets and only had to pay for two.. and I got some really nice cushions usually like $50 each but half price! And I got new pillows as they were buy one get one free so I think I paid like $30 for one and the other free.
I don't like flanelette sheets though I prefer either microfibre or a good thread count ..

microfibre are cotton but look slinky and they are so nice to sleep on and they fold really easily so you can just fold up the flat and fitted sheet and store them in one of the matching pillow cases so you know where each set is.. this works ok for cotton etc sheets but you have to be a good folder.

What about dem fluids though, son?

Singlet and pj pants, or shorts with knee high socks.
I feel the cold easy but I also seem to have picked up cold sweats during the night if I have too much coverage. Probably doing sprints in my sleep. Drives me bonkers.

I USED to be the girl with multiple blankets, trackies, a hoodie, and cuddly bed socks. And a hot water bottle

13.5 tog goose down duvet seems to do me just fine in summer and winter. Probably because they are the same thing.
