Peter Crouch, and there's a Spurs winger you lot probably won't have heard of but Aaron Lennon is known for his girly running style. The faster he runs the crazier his arms get and his flails them about like a woman running in heels.

You're not really grasping the concept of a goober, it's not about your performance or mistakes you make in your personal life, it's basicaly about how they hold themselves, on field demeanor, or having really awkward technique in their chosen sport.

Poleman doesn't really met the goober tag, he made mistakes in his personal life but that doesn't make him a goober, and I'm not sure it's possible to be a goober in rowing because they all have the same technique, I guess if they had really awesome facials they might qualify.

Yep I considered Poleman but quickly dismissed him as a candidate. He was a great athlete and not dorky/gooberish in the slightest really...just a bit of a twit. Match fixing is irrelevant too, thats more immoral/corrupt. Goobers arent really cheats, in barely occurs to them in their happy place to be naughty

Dutch Speed Skater Sven Kramer and his coach seem to be today's goobers... anyone else see it?

In the finals - having being unbeaten in something like 4 years - he muffed up by moving to the inside lane instead of the outside (on advice from his coach) during the race and was disqualified.

He's the same guy who a couple of days ago was being rude to reporters on live TV.
