As far as the the BDO goes, I still haven\'t made up my mind as to whether I\'m going this year.

me personaly - not interested, would rather spent $90 on something else and sit at home and listen to cd\'s

What is with it being so expensive now? Are the bands any better than the earlier BDOs of several years ago? They aren\'t in my opinion.

it\'s caus they are big POP bands not indi bands like 4-5 years ago.

Things cost a lot more when you want channel Z bands instead of BFm bands. Unfortunately the quality has decreased dramatically with this price increase
I\'m waiting to see what Prodigy\'s new stuff is like before I decide whether to go or not. I think $90 is excessive though, its double what I paid the first time I went, if I remember rightly.

I just got an email back from Red Fm congratulating me on winning a ticket so no complaints here on the price.

Should be interesting to see what Prodigy are going to come out with though. I think its been about 3-4 years since they last released?

i\'ll be there 4 sure, the boiler room looks really good, mix that with a bit of rock from the main stage, more dance on the essential stage, a cocktail of enharncement and it\'ll be GREAT !! Anyone know where to get the line-up\'s for each of the stages???

The boiler room should be good as always. As far as stage bands that are coming its a pretty poor turnout really. NOFX are about the only decent live act that are worth seeing.

Poor Pink and Bexta. You missed the BDOs when they were actually good. Last year was the first BDO I didnt go to.
If I wanna get stuck in a stairwell I\'ll go to Slinky. I have however just entered a competion for a double pass, because if its free, I\'ll go (although if truth be known, even then I sometimes question it).
With the surging popularity of E amongst people who dont bother to educate themselves, I\'m sure some will indulge... Er, wrong place guys, and, its fucking hot usually, and seeing as E raises your body temp, I dont think its a good idea. - Just incase anyone is actually thinking of doing such a thing.
Oh, and remember, Channel Z is the Big Day Out... (Thats why it now sucks).

Smiley - I wouldnt put down Channel Z that much. They have done alot for the New Zealand music scene. There are still hipocritical wankers on it like bomber and the kiwi music scene still has a long way to come. Give the poor bastards a chance.

Ticketek are shocking when it comes to the lack of knowledge of the events they are selling tickets for. Their service is prompt but when it comes to a simple question they are shocking !

thanks rubberchicken. I also asked how much tickets were and they said $55 general admission and $60 for mezzanine??? Have St James done that before?? Why?? (besides for more money)

bought my BDO tickets from ticketek - 4 phone calls to ticketek, 10 to NZ couriers, and 7 days later I actually managed to trace down WHERE my tickets were, and then had to drive 30 minutes to pick them up...sooooooo not happy.

just win your tickets and they send them out to you! heehehee! sorry, I haven\'t gotten over it yet. The hardest question for ticketek people is who the support bands are - not nec a prob for the dance events but it\'s something you need to know at other concerts and at all the ones I\'ve been to they had no idea.
