Not too familiar with Bevan's selection, although I was fortunate enough to hear his set before Ian Pooley @ The Grand Circle on Saturday night. Deep bass lines and uplifting vibes, fairly impressive mixing. However Mr Pooley was the winner on the night ...oh...and house music of course House about that!

Bob Sinclar, Full Intenion, Knee Deep Bros., Joey Negro, E Smoove, etc... that kinda stuff. Lotsa disco-ey house and soulful NY-style garage.

The stuff on N'n'U CDs are more likely what he'll play in the 1st hour - then he funks it up heaps more.

yeah hes definitely the disco-ey house man and I fully love him for that!

Bevan always manages to crank out a nice set in my experience. You should be in for a funky night forest

yep ive seen him numerous times (along with the rest of Akl) and he always gets down and funky. had some memorable thursday nights and Bacio courtesy of him and the man soane.

Depends where he plays. I find him mega-boring at Bacios which is why I don't go on Thursdays. Most other times I've heard I've liked him though.

Definitely go though forest! If you liked Dick Johnson, you'll like Bevan!

I.ve only ever managed to catch him at bacio,other than playing with him at the"end of dayz"university gig in october.

Where else you guys seen him at?could be keen on hearing him in a different venue...ant other regular sets youu know of?

I dont know if hes still a resident at Grand Circle, but the best places Ive seen him play is Fever and DHnF which arent his regular spots.

Always seems to pull out a special set when he plays Velvet, totaly lovely guy to boot.

*adjusts tounge into cheek* Apparently he has a radioshow on BFM. Hes like, one half of a duo called Nice n' Unglaubich or something.

The first time I saw him really turn it up was at the 1st(?) DHnF at Cirque. I'd basically just arrived in Auckland (two days beforehand if I remember correctly) and I thought "Fuck, who is that guy?! He rocks!"
