Best Keyboards

I like Trance music and i want to know what is the best keyboard for this kind of music. Somebody told me that tiesto is using a moog voyager but i dont know what model . I went to moog voyager page and i found the keyboards but they have only 3 1/2 Octaves !

People like tiesto are using the same 3 1/2 octave keyboards ?

Very much so a beginner , What should i buy ?

These days your actually probably better off getting some vst's and a midi keyboard to see if your interested in it.
If your going for hardware you'll need recording interfaces etc so more gear and software and know how.
You can get similar sounds with vsts to what your looking for and it will be an easy way to get started to see if it's for you then forking out $6000 for a voyager.

Minismonsta is a pretty good vst and there are quite a few other moog emulations.

Look them up on you tube there should be some good demo's of people using them.
I remember watching a video of Tiesto in his studio ages ago so that might be on there too?

A Moog is really a one sound machine, and I really wouldn't call it a mainstay of trance.

Are you after a sound source, or a workstation that you can also do the rest of the track in?

What equipment do you have at the moment?
