I like that Digable Planets call. Not the best hip hop album ever, but definately worth a mention. Good on ya four.

Illmatic was and is a true classic. Productions from Primo, Pete Rock, Extra P, Q Tip...NYC's finest beatmakers delivered the goods and Mr Escobar provided the tastiest lyrical gravy. IMO the best debut album by an MC....ever.
