Best e-mail provider

What do biggies think is the best e-mail provider? Like hotmail, yahoo, aol, ecstasy.net, paradise.net, ihug... the list could go on for ever!

And do many people use their ISP provided pop-3 e-mail system any more?

I have another mail only server .... works better that way ..

some people are so dumb they paid monthly for internet access and then go use hotmail.com for there email?????

why use pop3 etc .... cause its local, plus i'm sure you get more webspace

Webmail sucks. it's slow and clunky. Pop3 all the way. Webmail as a backup when you want to check your mail on the run.

Most ISPs offer dual web/pop3 e-mail anyway, and you can get free pop3 accounts.

I tell my friends to email my hotmail address because its so convenient and I know I'll never lose my mail or addresses when I shift address or jobs. Very handy. Provided, of course, that microsoft doesn't go belly up or re-examine their policy towards internet.
