...hang out at The End all the time, which is the best club in the world ever consensus of all the Nexus Biggies
taken from the Lounge...

Actually - unlike the Nexus prog/tech house fanboys - this dancer appreciates The End for what it is, but would not go so far as to call it the best club in the world.

For those trance fans amongst us - there are better. The Fridge, Brixton Academy, Camden Palace are all good BIG venues. And Heaven has had the best layout and dancefloors I have seen yet.

I dont really rate heaven's layout at all. the main room and the top one are quite well joined up, but the back room is crammed way into the corner and the other the back room is hard to get to when it's busy, down that little hall way. and the 5th room is nothing more than a vip room, which although has a cool fluffy bed in it, is rather boring looking. quite like most vip rooms actually

and AKA is easy to get to when its busy? Froggy

when I went to Heaven they had all the rooms open to evryone. There are actually many ways of getting to each room... The VIP room esp. connects to the Main room and the Top room and the foyer. And stop whining about packed corridors - its not like it was that long. (can you tell I'm in an argumentative mood today?). But what I really liked was the positioning of the bars - and the allocation of a bit of room around them to stand and order, rather than plonking them right on the dancefloor.

Another layout I really liked was Ministry. Which - if you can look past the cheese - is a fucking wicked club with great decor and an awesome sound system.

I've never had a problem getting to AKA from The End on a busy night as The End doesn't pack people in, which in itself makes it a way better club than others.

And yes the corridor wasn't that long, but it is narrow, and when you get a few hundred people crammed in there all wanting to talk to each other, and only one way in and out to the last room through the masses of people crammed in the narrow corridor, you can see my point about flow - weather you want to or not Razz

P.S. BRING IT ON! Froggy

Laughing Fuckin munters wanting to talk to each other in crowded corridors. One evening (at Turnmills actually...) I went around telling people off who were standing in everyones way.

"You can't stand here - move along..."

They were all like: "Oh shit - yes sir, sorry sir..." Laughing

That plus the fact I was chatting up one of the bargirls meant that a few people still think I work there...

come on. is that all you've got for me today? try a little bit harder next time Froggy

Okay, maybe the fact I've pulled there several times has had a minor influence on my opinion of the place... Laughing Laughing

...and the Notting Hill Arts Club is the cutest venue in London, not as good as The End for all-round quality, but it is the cutest... Cool
