Some of you may have seen over the weekend the comments made by Bernie Ecclestone (F1 owner) regarding Danica Patricks' success at the Indy 500



Think it was a PR stunt in trying to attract more attention for F1 in the states or his true words? Such a far out thing to say when you are so high profile!

lol yeah I saw that on TV, hes a grumpy old man, were probably his honest thoughts, wasn't very witty or funny though, Danica Patrick is awesome

He isnt actually grumpy at all tho, he is just very busy and hasnt noticed that comments like that are frowned upon by 99% of people today.

One of the smartest men in the world i would say.

He's pretty much the Dad of F1, his motorsport career was no big deal but he's a brilliant business man, i agree hes not really that grumpy lol was just a comment

I wonder if he says whos ya daddy to all the team bosses when they have meetings

I think he used to but I believe he's lost a lot of his power..
