Being officially unemployed...

is rather weird!!!

The only other time I've quit a job with no other job to go to is when I first moved to NZ and when I came to London.

spose I should get off the internet and ring my recruitment agencies!!

That will be me at the end of December! I have no job to go to currently but it's for the best!

oooh really?! I didn't know. It's kinda scary and exciting at the same time! for me tho, I needed to leave my job otherwise I would have gone even crazier!

Have had lots of calls from my recruitment agents in the last few days so hopefully get something this week. Seems to be a bit of work around.

yeah well.... unemployment lasted 3 days!! can't complain, got temp work until the end of the year, maybe longer.

I rate temp work in London in order to get some cash flowing in while your on the hunt for a permanent role.

Though sometimes you need to be on the agencies case constantly.

ooh, im joining the unemployed as of the 22nd Dec. Quite exciting although, when i get back to NZ, i guess im going to have to look for employment eventually.. see what happens i guess

perm work is a bit hard for me now... my visa runs out end of March and I would have to be REALLY lucky for someone to want to sponser me...

Well, I just got over a period of (voluntary) unemployment. Quit my old job end of July, travelled for 2 months, then started looking again in October back in London.

6 weeks later I found something. Was actually a nerve racking 6 weeks, because by that stage, the.... glow.... of unemployment (and summer) was well over.

Now tho, I'm happy to have a new contract We'll see how long it lasts.
