BASS FRONTIERS – THE REUNION
SATURDAY 30 JANUARY – SANDWICHES
11 years since its inception Bass Frontiers stands stronger than ever. Now the capitals biggest and best drum and bass crew looks back to the golden era and welcomes back some of its original members for a night of good old fashioned classic old school drum and bass bedlam.
For the occasion we welcome back none other than DJ Sean. Sean was at the forefront of the late 90’s early 2000’s Welly drum and bass scene before moving to Melbourne in 2003. He was recognized as one of the best dnb DJ’s in Welly and had a rep as one of the finest in New Zealand for his tightly woven and original sets. Internationals were regularly left in awe having to follow up a warm up set by Sean, DJ Zinc even singled out Sean as one of the best DnB DJ’s he ever had the pleasure of playing alongside.
What's more dusting off the record collections and coming back out of retirement to draw some classics from their crates are Bass Frontiers originals Sal, Kava and B.lo. Rounding out the line up is DDog and Presha, still holding it down as two of Wellingtons top drum and bass DJ’s and promoters. Also look out for a special classic UK garage and 2-step set from Marek in the lounge alongside some of the next generation Bass Frontiers DJ’s and some other special guests.
