i was really dissapointed with his last gig in wellington. i've got a cd which was way better than his live set. maybe he didn't have his ears on, maybe he was jetlagged, but he was average. the residents thankfully restored the night & made him look like a bit of a punter. hopefully he's improved & i'll be interested to hear more about your night out.

intersesting `the King' 1st negative I've read or heard anywhere by anyone. Who played either side of him & showed him up?- in saying that though, everybody has an off day, and not everyones oppinion is that of the masses (based on mass reviews from that particular gig) - but will let you know how it goes.

Before I went to see Austin Leeds last year (I hadn't heard any of his sets before) I posted on the Global Underground website asking what he was like - James Sheridan(one of the owners of GU) replied and said he was wicked and to definitely go - you cant argue with advice like that!
