'The Australian V8 Supercar Championship will be back at Pukekohe Raceway for the next two years.

AVESCO boss Tony Cochrane announced on Tuesday in Auckland that a two-year deal had been signed to run the championship round at Pukekohe Park Raceway.

Cochrane stressed that the deal was short term and that the track would require work to be ready for racing in 2006.'

Still think a street race in Auckland or Wellington would beat this hands down but good to see them back again for another 2 years. Think either council will wake up and get a street race up and running after these next 2 years? Not holding my breath Neutral

Well it gives us 2 years to get out shit together, i see there are a few tracks in construction that could be of use. If you can't put together something attractive in 2 years then you don't deserve to be in the game
