Vodafone apparently have pretty good deals over there for the prepay type thing.

Vodafone have awesome deals here in Aussie.. I pay $29 a month (pre-pay) and get $130 worth of calls and texts

Only thing that sucks is if you use or want to use pxts or the net on your phone you have to get an extras pack which I gather costs more.. personally I don't use it so $29 is all good with me

Yeah, $29 cap is good.

$30 one is good too, not a cap, but gives you X free texts and X free vodafone2vodafone minutes. Usually lasts me over a month too, but I'm not a super regulary phone user...

I use Virgin, but only because Charlie works for them. We all have virgin phones and its 5c text virgin to virgin (soon to be free) and 5c a minute calls.

if you going to look at caps, look into how much call / text rates are. $300 of free calls doesnt go far if you are paying $1.50 per 10 seconds

Nossy has had some nightmares with quality of the handsets themselves.
But cheap calls apply on prepaid, as does free virgin to virgin txt. Plans are no commitment if you have your own phone.
