yeh sames, BCCI are ghey. The best thing about this match was it shows that Aussie are completely fallible under a little pressure. They had an opportunity to turn the game in the last session of day 4, but Ricky tried to save his own skin by bowling part timers rather then keep the quicks on with a reverse swinging ball and maintaining the pressure that India was under from an excellent Australian 2nd session. In the must win test of a series, theres no way Ricky should have been thinking about being banned from a test against us. I think the only thing that holds any fear for us in the upcoming series is letting the Aussie top order get on top of us by bowling badly, and a fired up Brett Lee. The young uns in the Aussie squad have, tbh shown very little.

I think the only thing that worries me about the upcoming series is that we're utter rubbish. If we had the side of 3-4 years ago, or especially the early 00's, then I'd give us a realistic chance of drawing or even winning the series... but we're on as big a downward trend as the Aussies, so relative to us, they're still unbeatable (in Tests).

Having said that, I think the interesting thing about this series is India didn't play out of their skins. They played well, and strung together solid performances. A couple of years ago, you'd be cleaned up playing like that against Aus.

ever optimistic, but yeah, our top order really needs to pull something out of the hat, for 4 innings.

Heh, I say this EVERY couple of years, but the Proteas have their best shot since 93/94 of a series victory over Australia

We do have a very inexperienced side, especially the top order. I'm not too worried that we suck. Just so long as we show some sort of potential, which I think we do.

Hmmm Aussies quicks were pretty limp against India but I'll tell you one thing, Brett Lee will be a completely different bowler on the Gabba pitch.






Gonna be an EPIC series that one. Can't wait!

if the Africans dont do it this series, they never will. Definately good enough, but the MCG on boxing day, with 100'000 peeps is a big theatre.
