I go down to Chch quite a bit for work and haven't felt an aftershock once, so it wast a tiny bit thrilling for the 2 seconds it lasted :>

Wellingtons one wasnt that big, if I hadnt been sitting still I dont think I would have even felt it. Though, everyone seems to be hailing it as fairly decent. We obviously havent had one for a while.

4.4 for Melbourne today, too...which is pretty uncommon here...6.5 in Taupo, that's pretty large! Any damage?

It was 150kms deep so probably wouldnt have caused much (if any) damage.

150km deep, so unlikely. No reports I've seen so far anyway.
