I was listening to Simon Grigg last night & he played an 80s version of "The Real Life" (later recycled by Raven Maize).


Does anybody know who did the song?

I thought that was the beginning of Queen's
song.. dumb fuck can't remember the name.

Bohemian Rhapsody, yes. Same sample.

But this sounded pretty much the same as the Raven Maize track but less "polished".

I vaguely remember reading an interview with Joey Negro where he mentioned the Raven Maize track was an update of something someone had already done before. But wouldn't have a clue what it's called. There's also a big chunk of Simple Minds in there.

He probably did it way back then as well, the joys of longevity
