MARK FUCKING FARINA, BITCH!!!

Quite possibly the best house set I've ever heard...but to be fair, he was playing a few solid hours worth of stuff I'd never have expected him to play...slamming, driving, loopy as fuck, hypnotic, techy monsters...yet still laced with funk, groove and more melody than you could shake a stick at...fucking amazing! On the decks at 1am, still playing when I crawled out the doors at 6am...'I can call you betty, and betty when you call me, you just call me al...call me al!' Laughing

That boat has sailed for this tour, he played Auckland already and is now doing Aussie...don't think anyone would come to the party and cough up as much as he asks for his fee really.

Bugger was it his same old stuff or like his fabric cd that he did?.

As said above, there was solid hours of stuff I would have never expected from Farina, absolutely slamming, boarding on tech-house (without the dull bits) house music...snappy as fuck highs, mental looping hypnotic bits, chunky and funky...if his Fabric CD is 7 out of 10 on the "awesome house music" scale...this set as a 12...at least!

I saw Mark along with GIOM, IZ and Diz at Fabric a few months back... the guy is amazing!!! Cant wait to see him again
[quote]
yea we saw him in San Fran a week or so ago @ Sneak's bday party, and he was in good form then too... that was a week after the Auckland gig
[quote]
Nice Leroy - my bro just mentioned that...that would have been freaking awesome!!!
What really blew me away was how hypnotic and techy he was playing here...never heard him ever play stuff like that before...perhaps he's just the man at knowing his crowds and knows Melbs loves its tech...still retained lots of funk and snap, but whoa the way some of it looped around was insane!
[quote]
awesome, sounds all good - i heard he got pretty deep in auckland too
[quote]
Rub it in why dont you leroy Mr. Green
